SEO Specialist - SEO, PPC (Initial 12 Month Contract) Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire Up to £35,000 pro rata DOE
Our client is the parent organisation for over 90 youth hostel associations in 90 countries, operating 4,000 hostels. As a non-profit membership organisation, their mission is to promote cultural understanding, peace and international understanding through travel. An opportunity has now arisen for an SEO Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.
This is the ideal role for an experienced SEO professional with an interest in the travel industry and good PPC skills. As this position is the first search-specific post within the business, it will grow and evolve as you help shape the role, and may have the potential to become extended.
As the SEO Specialist you will work closely with the Marketing team and external suppliers, in order to develop, execute and manage all aspects of the association’s search marketing and optimisation programme, including organic SEO, link building, PPC and sponsorship.
Your duties will include:
- implementing and co-ordinating on-page organic SEO in multiple languages - developing and executing a comprehensive linking strategy and reporting - developing and managing paid search/PPC campaigns - keyword research and analysis - copywriting and managing translations for search-related activities

Skills & Achievements
To be considered for this position, you must have proven experience with SEO, including a clear understanding of SEO tools and software. It would be a distinct advantage if you have PPC experience.
Additionally, as the SEO Specialist you will need to demonstrate exceptional research and organisation skills, the ability to work in a team and a highly organised approach. Flexibility, adaptablity and good copywriting skills are also important.
SEO experience gained within the e-commerce or travel sector would be beneficial to your application, as would French, German or Spanish language skills and/or international experience.
